When someone’s entire personality is based off their christianity, I don’t prejudice them a “saint” or a “good person”- I think the literal opposite.

Maybe I'm starting to show my age (I'm a millennial, 33 as of April 2021), but these "family channels" in which EVERY VIDEO OR POST features children, some before they've even left their mothers' wombs, have always struck me as insincere, creepy, and exploitative. In the '90s, as more and more families were able to afford computers for in the home, the dangers and consequences of being too lax with your personal information, even something as simple as a picture of you, were often discussed in society and amongst families. Especially for us kids (I was 11 in 1999 and remember those talks and school assemblies well). Back then, we all understood that, "Hey, this is a new technology and, since it's new, we all need to be careful with it," especially since not everyone had constant access to it. Most of us only came across computers when using them in the school's computer lab or down at the local library. It wasn't until the late '90s/early 2000s that a lot of families got their first home computers (yes, little ones, ONE desktop computer for everyone to share). As the Internet and social media have become constant presences in our lives, as we, in turn, try to have constant presences with them, I think we've lost a lot of that sense of caution. This technology is now no longer a novelty or a treat, it's a mundane aspect of the everyday. And with its familiarity, guards can be let down, and that's a dangerous thing, especially when dealing with the most vulnerable people, children. Children shouldn't be treated as tickets for likes or subs. They should be treated as children, as individuals who must be able to consent and comprehend what exactly it means to be displayed online, for better or worse. Teach them caution and common sense, but not fear. Above all, teach them the ultimate decision about whether or not to have a photo or video of themselves online for the public to see it THEIR choice. I'm not a parent but if I was, or ever become one, that's the lesson I'll teach.

My mom and dad had me out of wedlock and when they broke up, they still maintained a good relationship with each other. I live with my mom and ever since i could remember, I've been visiting my dad when I'm free-but mostly during holidays-and i have never had a problem doing so because i know they're both happy to "share" me and they do so without any fights or anything. (I hope what i said send made sense because English is not my first language)

You should have also included the scandal of how they dressed everleigh up as ‘👯‍♀️’ with her friend but they looked like playboy bunnies. So many people were telling her to please take down the photo that it was inappropriate. It was finally taken down but what’s on the internet stays there forever. Nowadays people won’t send their kids in their own front yard because it’s ‘dangerous’ so they rather let them be online not realizing they are much more likely to be approached by a predator there.

There was like 3 minutes of actual content most of this video was just filler stuff :/

As a parent of 2 this did make me think about what I post online, my fb and insta are private and I have a separate one to post myself but my daughter is now 4 so maybe I should be asking her if it’s okay, I want her to understand that consent is important.
